STORY:

You must reserve your spot before you submit your story. Decide if you want to submit just a story or also be on the Front Cover of the book.

In addition to your published story, you also receive:

  • A 50-word Bio with your website or email information printed in the back of the book.
  • One free copy of the published book.
  • You can purchase additional copies of the book at a reduced price of $9.00 (plus S&H). This is a great opportunity to make revenue from the sale of the book at signings or sell on your website.
  • You will also be invited for an interview on The Coach Peggy Show with 3 other Contributing Authors.

STORY Investment: $500 if paid in full

Two payment option: 1st payment of $275 reserves your spot and 2nd payment of $275 due when you submit your story. The two payment option total is $550.

Story Guidelines:

1.) A story is like a long article; not a blog. A blog has bullet points. A story and article do not! An article and story only has complete sentences and paragraphs except for a dedicated bullet point conclusion

2.) The story should be about the author — written in first-person, narrative and non-fiction. Facts and figures can be added to validate the story, and those facts and figures must be resourced as suggested in #4. The story is a PERSONAL OPINION and does not necessarily need to be backed up by facts and figures. It needs to be experiential and emotionally based, not fact and figure-based.

3.) There can be subtle teaching within the story, but the story should not be a presentation. It is a personal story-not a teaching presentation. The understated teaching will be in the personal lesson learned.

4.) As an FYI, in case you do write stories allowing photos, ANY photos in the story must be resourced and posted in Chicago format style at the bottom of the story to meet legal publishing guidelines.   • Up to 100-word Bio with 2 Websites addresses, 1 Email, and a Black and White Photo in the back of the book.

STORY & FRONT COVER INVESTMENT: $1000 if paid in full

  2. Before you submit your story, reserve your spot via Venmo (Peggy-Willms) or PayPal (@pwillms). *You can also hold your spot for the two upcoming books as well. Determine if you just want to submit a story or if you would also like to be on the front cover.
  3. Sign the Agreement. You will receive this link, once payment is processed to reserve your spot.
  4. Once your Agreement is signed, you will receive a link to submit your amazing story (up to 2,000 words). Stories accepted no later than 1/30/2022.
